No — and we'd be lying if we said otherwise. Sales depend on photos, niche, pricing, your shop's history and a dozen things outside any tool's control. What Craftlisto guarantees is that your listings will be searchable for far more buyer queries, with all 13 tags filled and titles tuned for how Etsy actually ranks today. Better discoverability is the prerequisite for more sales — but it isn't a promise of them.

Etsy SEO
How tags, titles and descriptions actually shape your shop.
Etsy gives you 13 tag slots. Each one is a search phrase (up to 20 characters) buyers might type. Etsy's algorithm matches those phrases to actual searches — so an empty slot is a search you'll never appear in. Long-tail tags ("dog mom rescue mug") get fewer searches but convert at much higher rates than single words ("mug"). Filling all 13 slots well is one of the highest-leverage things you can do.
Because they're double-counted: Etsy uses titles for search ranking AND buyers read them on the search results page to decide whether to click. A weak title hurts you twice. The strongest titles lead with a high-intent keyword, name the buyer or occasion, and read like a real person wrote them — not a string of comma-separated keywords.
Yes, more than most sellers think. Etsy doesn't rank you by description text directly, but the description controls whether the click becomes a sale. A scannable description with clear bullets, a buyer FAQ and a use-case hook converts measurably better than a wall of text. Craftlisto drafts in that format by default.
